CLASS STRUCTURE FOR 2011

GVKC will offer the following classes for 2011:

4-cycle classes (Sprint racing)
Jr Animal (Sealed)    - Red plate    - age 8-10      - 250lbs 
Jr Animal (Sealed)    - Gold plate   - age 10-15    - 275lbs 
Sr Animal (Sealed)    -                   - 15+             - 350lbs 
Masters (Sealed)    -                      - 35+             - 360lbs

WKA Jr Animal        - Gold Plate (.505) - age 10-12   - 275lbs 
WKA Jr Animal        - Black Plate          - age 12-15   - 320lbs
WKA Sr Animal        -6" Firestone          -age 15 +      - 350lbs
Sr Open        (Modified, 'bout anything)   - age 15+      - 350lbs 

**4cycle classes will run 5" Dunlop SL4, Bridgestone YHC, Burris 55, DeCuzzi unless otherwise designated above**

2-cycle classes (Sprint racing)
Kid Kart - age 5-7 - Tire max Diameter - 33.75"

Jr Yamaha Sportsman Small carb - age 8-12        - 250lbs 
Jr Yamaha 4-hole SuperCan        - age 12-15      - 310lbs
Yamaha Sr. Sportsman  4-hole     -age15+           - 335 lbs 
Sr Yamaha Pipe                           -15+                 - 360lbs
Yamaha Masters Pipe                  - 35 +               - 400lbs

Tag Sr                                         -15+                 - weights per WKA 

**2cycle classes will run 5" Dunlop SL4, Bridgestone YHC, Vega Blue, MG "Fz" or "Hz", Burris 55 or DeCuzzi tires** 

Other kart configurations are welcome to participate with us.
 GVKC will make every effort to combine these karts with classes that are similar in respect to speed or driver experience whenever possible as long as it is deemed safe to do so. Club points will be awarded only to karts meeting the specifications of a recognized class. Additional classes will be considered by GVKC if we can get a commitment of 5 entries that will participate regularly.
